SportzContest is the software that runs the competition. It is not the competition. This page sets out clearly where our responsibility ends and the organiser's begins.
Last updated 21 July 2026 · Read alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
This disclaimer applies to www.sportzcontests.com, all event pages hosted on our subdomains and white-label domains, our organiser dashboard, our participant apps, and every piece of content we publish including blog posts, case studies, pricing pages and downloadable templates. The Platform is operated by Catalyst Web Trendz Pvt. Ltd., Pune, Maharashtra.
Except where we have signed a separate written agreement to manage an event ourselves, SportzContest does not organise, host, promote, endorse or supervise any event listed on the Platform. Every event belongs to the institution, club, company or federation named on its listing. They set the rules, appoint the judges, book the venue, decide who is eligible, declare the results and hand over the prizes. Our software simply gives them the tools to do all that in one place.
The presence of an event on our Platform is not a recommendation, quality certificate or vetting stamp of any kind.
Listing content — dates, venue, categories, age limits, entry fees, prize amounts, rules, timings and eligibility — is created and maintained by the organiser. We do not independently verify it. Details change frequently in Indian event calendars: grounds get rebooked, exam schedules shift, monsoon rain moves fixtures, and prize pools are revised when a sponsor drops out.
Before you pay an entry fee or travel to a venue, confirm the details directly with the organiser using the contact information on the listing. If you spot something on a listing that appears false or misleading, report it to info@catalystwebtrendz.com and we will take it up with the organiser.
Participation in any physical event carries inherent risk. Grounds, mats, equipment, lighting, crowd control, transport, catering, first aid and medical response at a venue are entirely the organiser's responsibility, together with the venue owner and any vendors they appoint. We are not present at most venues, do not inspect them, and accept no liability for injury, illness, loss or damage to property occurring before, during or after an event.
Where an event is organised by a third party in association with a sponsor, that sponsor's involvement is a commercial arrangement between them and the organiser. We do not warrant sponsor commitments, including announced cash prizes, scholarships, internships or merchandise.
Scores, timings, points, rankings, medal tallies and leaderboards displayed on the Platform reflect exactly what the organiser, their scorers or their judges entered. Our software totals, sorts and publishes that data; it does not verify whether a runner actually finished second or whether a dance performance deserved 8.5.
Errors happen — a mistyped timing, a scorer on the wrong screen, a tie-break rule applied differently from what was published. Every correction is recorded in an immutable audit log that the organiser can inspect, which is usually enough to settle a dispute in minutes. But the authority to review, correct or overturn a result rests solely with the organiser and any appeals committee they have constituted. We will not intervene in a sporting or artistic decision, and we cannot restore a place, medal or prize on a participant's behalf.
Provisional results published live during an event may be revised. Only results marked "final" by the organiser should be treated as settled.
Where an event uses public voting, we apply rate limiting, device fingerprinting and duplicate detection to reduce manipulation, and organisers may weight public votes against jury scores. These measures reduce abuse; they do not eliminate it. We make no representation that any public vote tally is free of coordinated inflation, and the organiser decides how much weight a public vote carries in the final outcome.
Certificates generated on the Platform carry a verification code and QR that confirm one thing only: that the named person appears in the organiser's records for that event with that placement. They do not certify skill level, do not constitute an academic or professional qualification, and are not recognised by any board, university or sports federation unless that body has separately said so. Physical medals, trophies and prize money are dispatched or handed over by the organiser, not by us.
Figures published on this website — such as reduced admin time, higher turnout, faster registration or increased sponsorship revenue — are drawn from real customer reports and are described as accurately as we can manage. They are illustrations, not promises. Your results will depend on your event size, your team, your promotion, your timing and a dozen local factors we cannot see.
Nothing on this site is a guarantee that a particular number of participants will register, that an event will be profitable, that entries will sell out, or that a sponsor will renew. Similarly, nothing here is legal, tax, financial or medical advice. Case studies describe what happened for one organiser in one season; treat them as evidence, not a forecast.
Our pages link to third-party websites — organiser microsites, sponsor pages, payment gateways, federation rulebooks, map services, video platforms and news coverage. We provide these links for convenience. We do not control those sites, do not endorse their content or products, and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, security or privacy practices. Once you leave sportzcontests.com, this disclaimer and our Privacy Policy no longer apply; read theirs.
Event descriptions, team names, photographs, submission files, comments and judge remarks are uploaded by users. Views expressed in them are the authors' own and do not represent SportzContest. We act as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and we remove unlawful content on receipt of a valid complaint or a lawful order. Write to info@catalystwebtrendz.com with the URL and the reason, and we will act within the timelines prescribed by law.
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Live scoring, QR check-in and notifications depend on factors outside our control, including venue connectivity, mobile network coverage, device battery, third-party gateway uptime and the accuracy of data entered by volunteers. Offline modes queue data locally and sync when connectivity returns, but a device that is lost or wiped before syncing cannot be recovered.
Organisers are advised to export a participant list the evening before an event day and keep a printed backup for the gate. It has saved more than one sports day.
Dashboards, scoreboards, leaderboards, logos, institution names and testimonials shown in our marketing pages may use illustrative or anonymised sample data for demonstration. Where a real customer is named, it is with their written permission. Maps and geographic illustrations on this site are stylised graphics for design purposes; they are not to scale and are not a representation of any national or state boundary.
To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Our liability is limited as set out in clause 11 of our Terms of Service. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes liability for fraud or wilful misconduct, or affects the rights a consumer holds under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
This disclaimer is governed by the laws of India and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi, Delhi. We may update it from time to time; the "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
